Newly Appointed Director of U.S. Embassy Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Zachary Barter and INL Criminal Justice Reform Program Manager Kristina Afoyan were hosted by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia and met with the management of the Committee.

During the meeting with Mushegh Babayan and Artak Poghosyan, the Deputy Chairmen of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, they discussed the key directions of the Committee’s activities and the recorded results, spoke of the main issues and priorities related to the professional training and capacity development of the staff. The Committee representatives thanked the American side for the continuous support and effective cooperation provided by the INL in matters related to technical equipment and the training of the Committee’s officers.

The INL representatives also expressed their satisfaction to the management of the Anti-Corruption Committee for the close partnership and expressed hope that the upcoming programs outlined within the framework of the aforementioned cooperation will be implemented to a greater extent of efficiency.
