Artur Nahapetyan, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, has held a working meeting with the management and staff of the Committee today, presenting them his approaches and principles regarding the activities of the structure. The Chairman of the Committee emphasized that the goal of everyone's work should be one - a comprehensive and uncompromising fight against corruption.
"The Anti-Corruption Committee is the only investigative body in the republic that carries out operational-investigative activities, which provide us with great opportunities to reveal crimes and effectively investigate the criminal proceedings. In this regard, I highlight, in particular, the coordinated work of the operative officer and the investigator. Due to the jointly planned and complementary work of the operational and investigative bodies, even the most complex and multi-component corruption crimes can be easily revealed and investigated. "From the point of view of effective investigation of criminal proceedings, I would also like to point out the importance of prompt resolution of proceedings that have been investigated for a long time," Artur Nahapetyan noted.
Touching upon the personnel policy and his approaches in this regard, the Chairman of the Committee assured that there are no favorites for him. According to him, each employee will be evaluated based on three important characteristics: honesty, dedication, and hard work. "I am ready to go the way with everyone who meets these criteria," Artur Nahapetyan said.
The Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee stressed on the importance of maintaining and developing partnership relations with other law enforcement bodies, noting that one of the main goals of the Committee will be to recruit personnel who are ethical, dedicated and professionally trained, as well as to closely cooperate with Armenian, foreign and international partners.
Artur Nahapetyan expressed confidence that the Anti-Corruption Committee will demonstrate the necessary will and determination to overcome the challenges facing it with honor.
