Based on measures jointly conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee and the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, factual evidence was obtained indicating that a representative of the “Strong Armenia” Party, together with other persons, provided electoral bribes to a number of voters in Shirak marz in exchange for voting for the party in the National Assembly elections.

The Anti-Corruption Committee has initiated a criminal proceeding. Several individuals have been detained, and procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
