Within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee based on measures jointly carried out by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the National Security Service, factual evidence has been obtained indicating that supporters of the “Armenia” Alliance of Political Parties, acting as part of a group, provided electoral bribes of varying amounts to a number of voters in exchange for voting in favor of the alliance in the National Assembly elections.

In connection with the incident, the above-mentioned persons have been detained, and searches and other procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
