As a result of operative-search measures conducted by officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, factual evidence has been obtained indicating that representatives of the “Prosperous Armenia” party provided electoral bribes to a number of voters in Tavush marz in exchange for voting in favor of the party during National Assembly elections and recruiting additional supporters.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with the case. Several persons have been detained, and procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
