As a result of measures carried out by officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Lori marz Department of the National Security Service, factual data were obtained in criminal proceedings initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee indicating that an individual acting on behalf of the Prosperous Armenia Party and serving as a representative of the party’s territorial headquarters operating in the Vanadzor community of Lori marz had provided bribes to a number of voters in exchange for voting in favor of the party, as well as for recruiting individuals willing to vote for the said party in return for electoral bribes.

Within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated in connection with the incident, several individuals have been detained, searches have been conducted, and other procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
