The Anti-Corruption Committee uncovered an electoral bribery scheme and prevented its further criminal activity, in which former high-ranking officials were also involved, including A.S., who had held the position of Head of the State Property Management Department.

Four persons were detained on charges of giving and receiving electoral bribes. By court decision, arrest was applied as a measure of restriction against two of them.

Active criminal procedural measures are being undertaken to identify the full circle of persons involved in the criminal scheme and to initiate prosecutions against them.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
