Within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated at the Anti-Corruption Committee on the basis of measures carried out by officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, factual data were obtained regarding cases of electoral bribery provided by a candidate for deputy from the “Strong Armenia” Alliance of Political Parties to a number of residents of Lori marz on the condition that they vote in favor of the said alliance in the National Assembly elections.

Within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated at the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia in connection with the incident, a number of persons were detained, searches and other procedural actions were carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
