By order of the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Nahapetyan, dated March 20, 2026, Arman Abajyan has been appointed Acting Head of Lori and Shirak Territorial Division of the First Operative-Search Department of the Committee. By another order issued on the same day, Arman Sargsyan has been appointed Acting Head of Syunik and Vayots Dzor Territorial Division of the Second Operative-Search Department.

It should be recalled that, as a result of structural reforms carried out in 2025, four independent operative divisions were established within the Committee on the basis of a single operative division. Moreover, by order of the Chairman, unprecedented regional divisions were created within these departments, namely the territorial divisions of Lori and Shirak, as well as Syunik and Vayots Dzor.

The establishment of territorial divisions aims to ensure targeted anti-corruption efforts at the local level, prompt response to corruption cases, clarification of the functions of operative divisions, balanced distribution of powers, and more efficient use of resources.
