As a result of joint evidentiary and operative-search measures carried out by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the National Security Service, factual data have been obtained indicating that a supporter of the “Strong Armenia” party promised employment and other benefits to several voters in exchange for voting in their favor in the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. These offers were accepted by the persons concerned.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against four persons, who have been detained.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
