As a result of measures carried out by officers of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, factual data were obtained indicating that representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party had provided electoral bribes to a number of voters in the Akhtala community of Lori marz and nearby areas in exchange for voting in favor of the party in the National Assembly elections and recruiting supporters.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with the incident; several individuals have been detained, and procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
