As a result of measures carried out by officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, factual evidence has been obtained regarding various instances in which a representative of the “Prosperous Armenia” Party provided electoral bribes and other benefits constituting electoral bribes in exchange for votes in favor of the party in the National Assembly elections.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with the incident. Several persons have been detained, searches have been conducted, and other procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
