As a result of measures carried out by officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, factual data have been obtained indicating that individuals appointed as responsible persons at the office of the “Strong Armenia” Party in Yerevan city Ajapnyak Administrative District, acting in prior agreement with supporters of the said party and a group of persons cooperating with them, promised and provided electoral bribes to voters.

A criminal proceeding was initiated at the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia in connection with the incident. A number of individuals have been detained, searches have been conducted, and other procedural actions have been carried out.

Notification. the person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Criminal Procedure Code by a verdict entered into legal force.
