Since 7 February 2026, 115 criminal proceedings have been initiated in relation to election-related corruption offences, of these:

  • 77 proceedings concerned the “Strong Armenia” Alliance of Political Parties - 67%;
  • 24 proceedings concerned the “Prosperous Armenia” Party - 20.8%;
  • 11 proceedings concerned the “Armenia” Alliance of Political Parties - 9.6%.

In 61 criminal proceedings, public criminal prosecution has been initiated against 242 individuals.

Measures of restriction involving deprivation of liberty have been imposed on 100 accused persons, including:

  • arrest in respect of 52 accused persons - 21.3%;
  • house arrest in respect of 48 accused persons - 19.7%.

Alternative measures of restriction have been imposed on 120 accused persons, including:

  • administrative supervision in respect of 20 accused persons - 8.2%;
  • prohibition on absence in respect of 100 accused persons - 41%.

Nineteen individuals have been declared wanted, while 14 criminal cases concerning 54 individuals have been completed with indictments.

The Anti-Corruption Committee will continue its consistent fight against election-related corruption offences and will strictly monitor potential violations in the post-election period. We call upon citizens to comply with the law, demonstrate responsible conduct, and refrain from any unlawful influence on the electoral process.
