The Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia presented the Committee's 2024 state budget performance

Artur Nahapetyan, the Chairman of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, presented the Committee's 2024 budget performance at the joint session of the NA Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs on June 6.

Artur Nahapetyan reported that the Committee's 2024 annual budget amounted to AMD 3 billion 660 million, and the performance ensured 85.2 percent of the projects. As a result, the funds unspent in the amount of AMD 542 million were returned to the budget. Budgetary allocations within the framework of the "Ensuring the Disclosure and Investigation of Corruption Crimes" program were implemented through 5 measures.

Compared to the previous year, the Committee's expenses increased by 17.9 percent or AMD 474 million, which is mainly due to the recruitment of staff.
